About Restore
Restore began with a simple idea. That the good way and the easy way should be the same thing.
Food that’s made close to home.
Bottles that are washed and used again.
Farmers who are local and sustainable
Each week, we deliver milk, yoghurt, honey, and other staples from small NSW farms, in reusable glass and compostable packaging.
We collect what’s empty, refill it, and send it back into the world.
It’s a small ritual, repeated in homes across Sydney. A quiet act of care, for your family, for our farmers, for the planet we share.
Our beginnings
In 2023, we turned to our community for guidance. More than 400 Sydney families told us the same thing: they wanted to live more sustainably, but it had to be simple.
Out of those conversations, The Restore Project was born. A circular grocery system with no single-use plastic, no waste, and no middlemen
We deliver
We’re a freshest-possible delivery project. Nothing about us is watered down, we’re all heart, about freshness and full flavour.
Delivered, silently as is befitting of library rules, by subscribing you help eliminate single-use plastic, and together we challenge the supermarket’s stronghold. Our butter paper and locally made glass containers fit with the low mileage of our products and prevent harmful chemicals from leaching into your food.
Our team
Founded by Dominic Ryan in 2023, RESTORE is a stand-alone project founded on a desire to minimise plastic waste through reuse and support local, regenerative farmers. We’re a small team with a deep-seated yearning / want to grow. Our small team of milkmen work quietly from midnight to dusk to deliver the goodness prepared by the operations team, who fill the bottles and arrange your order systematically.
